Although it's difficult to see in the before photo this Mesquite tree had been pruned in a very rough manner over the past several years. Multiple branches had been topped and it was full of knobs and "suckers" technically called Epicormic branches. We cleaned up the knobs and crossing branches and got the tree ready for Monsoon season. The new growth should come in strong, full and healthy.
